1. Who's home?

  2. I'm home. Alternating between being amused at the shenanigans in the Brazil show thread and harrassing my son about his financial slacktitude. Typical night in.

Amusing shenanigans indeed. I hate people lecturing me about my finances...I have enough saved, I'm happy.

  4. If I wasn't fielding phone calls from cranky creditors wanting to be paid, I wouldn't be saying a word.

  5. In that case...

Sounds like Centrelink, except they never leave you alone and you tell them you're working from 9.30 - 8.30 and they ring up at 10am asking you questions. ''I can't answer you now!!''

It's a pain in the arse. I've given up answering the phone. Anyone who wants me can call my mobile.

Centrelink are also a pain in the arse. If you're bored, check out the #whenIwasabludger hashtag on twitter for tales of pain, woe and bludging off the government.

I'd love to, for a few months, get rid of my phone. Maybe take a road-trip and forget about any kind of communication for eight months. Hate answering the phone, 'cos you know the resulting call is about to piss you off and make you annoyed for the next eight hours.

I'll have to check out that Twitter tag. 14 minutes on the phone, and 13 of those waiting to be answered.

Sounds about par for the course. I'm sure Centrelink's no better than they were 15+ years ago when I was on benefits. I'm always surprised anyone has time to look for a job with all the time and effort it takes to satisfy their requirements.

I looked and found one for myself. I can't wait around for them. I wasn't with them 15 years ago but I'd guess it's no worse given what some people have told me.

Their requirements are ridiculous. To have 40 hours a week is like a godsend.
  10. Listening to Vertigo Seattle first night Frafoca remaster, LaPoE was a pretty good opener, sound is awesome!

  11. was thinking about that the other day, where did they put COBL?
  12. If I remember about 7 songs in.
