  6. I am just listening to the webcast and am appalled how mediocre the sound quality is. If you compare this to recordings that are 15-20 years old this is simply not very good. I just don't understand why the quality suffered so much. Because it is a webcast? Will the FM recording be much better? I doubt it (apart from the clicking noise). It is strange that the webcasts and broadcasts are getting worse with every show. If you compare this to Dublin 89 or Dublin 93 this is simply a joke!

    I'm sure they make it mediocre on purpose. I suppose they don't want to make it sound as good as stuff they may want to sell themselves. It's good enough to listen to live but not really good enough for casual folks to choose it over a proper release (Rose Bowl and hopefully another).

    That's the only thing I can think of. I'd be shocked if these are the best live mixes they can do. Sheffield, Rose Bowl, Cape Town and this are all brutal. No coincidence.
  8. You guys think the sound quality is brutal? I haven't listened to any of the recorded streams yet that poeple are downloading, but when I was listening live last night via u2.com it sounded pretty amazing....Sure there were a few clicks every now and then, but other than that it was flawless.

    Bono called a young boy on stage, right before Vertigo, and made the boy run through the circle, like when he did with The Fly (Elevation/Boston DVD). That was pretty cool

    Btw, the ''poetry" before BD is not actually true. What the girls read during the three gigs was parts of BD lyrics translated into Portuguese, when Bono says "dia lindo" after the girl, he means "beautiful day".

    Did I have a mental breakdown last night, or they played Out of Control, instead of I Will Follow as ppl are saying? Seriously, this thread made me question my sanity. Because, I dont remember I Will Follow, but I surely remember Out of Control

    Obviously, I completely messed up the dates in my head.
    I guess three shows was a bit overwhelming
