I may or may not have listened to the title track whilst under the influence last night. Pretty cool.
  2. Consider me united behind Zooropa. I realized once that it is probably the U2 album I listen to the most from beginning to end. It's just fantastic.

And...ehm...the title track is really mind blowing under the influence of...things. Let's just say there were people I knew in college that had no other U2 album but Zooropa because of how amazing it is under...the...eh...influence.

I really think this is the closest they came to actually doing a concept album. The Wanderer is such a fantastic way to end the album, but is best appreciated if you really listen to the entire album before hearing the video game country bass line kick in...then the one and only Johnny Cash offering his American counterpoint to the European album.

Bono's lyrics seem to be at their best in many places on this album...he got to a level of abstraction that I wish he maintained. And if I could have seem them perform at any point in their career, it would have been the Zooropa leg of ZooTV.

Damn. Zooropa is just...the best. Period.
  3. Listen to Zooropa, smoke DMT, explode.
  4. Listened to it all the way through the other day. Never tire of it.
  5. Zooropa was the first album from u2 that I heard, every song of the album is amazing for me and I'm happy like the rest of you to listen now Zooropa in the 360º Tour.

    90's U2 were untouchable.

Amen to that..U2 in the 90's done it with style and class, ZooTV,Supermodles and a big Lemon.
  7. Best album, i love every second of that album and i can listen to it any time no matter the mood. I think it doesnt have any weak points, i even love Some Days Are Better Than Others!
  8. A great and extraordinary album.
It has its flaws but every album has drawbacks. The matter about Zooropa is that its experimental approach leads it away from being popular.Bono had said that they didn't have hit songs because of this experimentalism. But that's what makes it special I think.
But anyway, there are gorgeous songs and It's exceptional.
  9. Who cares about it being popular or not. It's just an awesome album full of incredible songs.

  10. Stay, Numb, Babyface, Lemon... <3
  11. Big, well-deserved bump. Zooropa can't be beat. Ever. What I would give for about 10 more tracks from Zooropa...

Zooropa and Some Days are a couple of my favorite songs. And why all the hate for Babyface? I always thought it was a cool, unique-sounding tune.

Anyway, I've just been listening to the album a lot more lately, it's my favorite U2 album. There's not a track I'd skip on it.
