    Well, what can i say
  2. On the Iran-Al Qaeda connection i think its pure bullshit. Its obvious the neocons want another war for profit. Personally i believe the war on terror to be the biggest hoax of all, it existing only to destroy personal liberty.

That's the frustrating thing about our election process here. I don't mean any insult to you at all, Macphistfly...but because your candidate isn't one of the names that is always in the media, does he stand a legitimate chance? What else is there to do, but get the word out on your candidate? (Which, is what you're doing, so that's got to count for something!) The whole system is frustrating though....

No offense taken my friend, what we are doing to get the word out on Dr Paul is using every available resource especially the world wide web to spread the news on Dr. Paul.
The corporate owned media is indeed frightened of Dr. Paul and will thus either poke fun at or ignore him, but now...things are starting to change... And you are right to be frustrated, you live in a country where corporations control the media, and thus what a lot of people think...

People are waking up and the Ron Paul Revolution is) well under way
    etend to be
His message is that freedom is popular, and the the US ought to mind its own business and return to its constitution. (The opposite of Bush, whereas others only pretend to be)

Meetup groups are also a big feature in the RPR and i have been an active member of Bostons, i am moving to Cali very soon actually and will join one there as well

I invite you to see for yourself by going to YouTube and typing in simply 'Ron Paul'....

    in response I should say:
    1. I had no idea that there where issues between Al Qaeda and the Iranian government, I'm sorry, I have to admit that I assumed that there might be a connection between both...

    2. I'm sure we will never know... I have to say that, also in this comment I made, if there's no connection between Iran's Gov. and Al Qaeda my comment is of no meaning then...

    3. About the Columbia's speech... I have to agree with you, I never saw this kind of treatment at a University or at least heard of something like it. and I have to agree that it was a low hit from the University's president to do such a thing. Ahmadinejad should have known that was going to happen... the only reason I can think of, is that he was deceived in order to attend the conference, becouse normally before accepting or even going there should be an Intelligence reaserch to know if going is such a good idea as it was in the beggining...

And well, I don't really have that much knowledge about what is going on at Iran.. I might have a slight idea about Ahmadinejad through the little that I have managed to read or hear...

adn I really hope to learn about the situation through you,
    cheers!!

Alright, let's just say for the record that I'm not trying to justify Ahmadinejad's actions! As you have probably seen my previous comments on him...I really have issues with him!
On 1 & 2: Well that is true, we have had problems with Al Qaeda, we get threats from them as well, like a few months ago, some shrine (not much of a shrine tho...but well, many people believe in it here) was closed due to a threat by Al Qaeda to blow it up at a ceremony which was going to be held there.
So we have problems, and yes, considering that the government is enemies with Al Qaeda, the president visiting ground zero shouldn't have been that insulting...tho we will never know his intention, I really think he was just going to pay his respects, as a good gesture!

On 3: Well...this president's not that good on intelligence ... many decisions he makes need more revising! But the point is that he is responsible for that treatment, I mean take Khatami, the previous president, he wasn't like Ahmadinejad, he was much better at foreign relations and he was (and is) always respected in such conferences. Ahmadinejad has made the government and Iranians lose the little bit of respect they had left, and this is what makes me sad...

I take it that the question only has advertising reasons ...
But just to not leave it unanswered: I don't think a war is going to happen, I just think the world doesn't have capacity for one more right now. I sure hope I'm right on that

ahahahahh no, but that is agood idea

After the speech at the UN today, i am afriad the CFR's plan for war on your soverign free nation does seem to be rearing its ugly head. I like your president a great deal, much like i admire Chavez. Because they are both next on a politically sabotaged and demented American hitlist.

Chavez and Ahmadineyad have balls and are American histlist, yes, but they're both pretty mad. And pretty dangerous.

I'm sorry to hear that you like and admire Chavez, I believe they are a true threat, not only to the world but also and most important, to their own people... I want to stand clear on something, by saying this I don't mean that I'm in favor of the hitlist....

I have to agree about them been on the American hitlist.... but I must disagree with you when saying they have balls.... I'm sorry but if there is one thing they've got it is MONEY!!!! they are incredibly rich... in the case of Chavez, he's using the Venezuelan's money just to improve and polish his own personal image as a "supoussed" (I'm not sure if it's written correctly) Latin American Leader....
I think that the world should have a particularly fear of Chavez, for what he's doing to Latin America, he's giving out money all over, but not to the people but to other political functionaries through out Latin America.... he's involved in the drug cartels, smugling, and let's not forget that he's becoming a Democratic DICTATOR!!!

If you do your research you will find that the Bush family is involved in drug trafficing, and CIA supported drug smuggling to destroy the black community.
The idea of Chavez and Ahmadenijad being a threat, is of the same kin as Saddam being a threat IT IS ENTIRELY FALSE AND AN EXCUSE FOR PREMPTIVE WAR!
Both Iran and Venezuela have large resources of oil, and they are going to make the excuse that their leaders are crazed terrorists in order to invade. This is a plan that has been in motion for years, set my the neocons. It is a lie and a trap, don't fall into it.

    Macphistfly,
I understand your point of view. I lived in Venezuela for 19 years, I was raised there. And let me tell you, CHAVEZ is a threat to the world and to Venezuelan's.
please read previous posts in this same topic where you can find some of my opinions on Chavez, when I asked everyone about him....
    this was already discussed...
what wasn't discussed is about Bush, in my honest opinion he's involved in all that you said and even more I believe.... and as far as I know, he commited fraud to get to the White House, so he's no saint of my devotion...
    cheers!
