  1. i just finished reading the @u2 article that stated that u2's 360 tour is pretty much guaranteed to end in moncton this year and so i began to wonder:

    what's life like here on u2start a tour is over/there is no real news on u2?
    i've only ever really been on this site while the 360 tour has been underway..

    so what is it like?

    Much of the same, just scaled back a tad. There's a lot more discussion about U2's music in general, as opposed to the discussion about the current setlist, the current U2, etc. It's just as much fun around here, don't worry. People start going through different phases more often, people will bring up ZooTV and discussions will arise about it, and other things of that nature.

    Don't forget that once a tour ends, speculation and discussion about the next U2 album and tour starts beginning. There's never a shortage of new U2 stuff to talk about.

    It's definitely not as "bumping", and there's less activity, but the same guys stick around and the same amount of U2 fandom is there. Don'tchya worry.

    "360 Tour Compilation LOSSLESS (FLAC)"
    "Setlist using only 360 rotated songs"
    "Setlist using no 360 songs (super hard!!!)"

    etc.
    etc.
    etc.

    After the first month or two of that, things might actually be a bit more fun than when a tour is going on..there's much less griping and everyone's not so tied to one particular event or issue. It's all about everything.

  11. Less activity, less pageviews, less posts, more slowchat and more talk about other music. And some bitching about lossless recordings
