1. How long does it take for a torrent to seed and find the tracker? My torrent app says hostname not found.

  2. Did you remember to download the torrent file itself after you uploaded it? You will need to do this first before seeding begins.
  3. Hi, I did, I downloaded the torrent and then pointed it to the orginal folder so it recognised I had all the files and then it went straight to seeding. Is that not correct? And then it turned red. When I check the other files that are correctly seeding the tracker has a backslash and then a lot of characters. My uploaded torrent doesnt have that

  4. OK, got it to work, I had the wrong torrent connected to the folder

I can download the torrent file but when I try to add it to uTorrent I'm told the file has been moved already (even though I have'nt moved it!). When I try and add the URL straight into uTorrent it tells me 'Error - connection closed by peer while downloading URL'.

    Thanks

  6. When a torrent says it's "queued" does that mean it's ready to be seeded if somebody downloads it?

And is this meant to be a good speed? I really haven't a breeze about stuff like this.

EDIT- I've tested again and got this which has a nearer server

  7. I would kill something with two legs to get that speeds. I can only download at 600 and upload at 55-65 kbps...

  8. Well.. Sorry Sergio
  9. Depends on how much speed they say you're going to get? Half of that speed and above is often considered good.

Something is strange about torrents for me. I can only download on a tenth of the speed my internet has otherwise, the same for my upload.

  10. Jesus Christ haha
  11. I can't get faster internet than my 8 mbit/s
