Just a good 10 or 12 song starter will do, minimizing on the tracks from the albums I've already got. Even though closing it off with Purple Rain is probably inevitable

Thanks, if anyone can help!

I had no idea a-ha had so many tracks! They were/are bigger in Europe/UK than they are in North America, no?

yeah they have had way more success in europe and south america than they have in the states, where they're usually (very wrongly!) described as a one or two hit wonder. they released 9 albums as well as solo projects, if i'm not mistaken.
give some of them a try if you like u2/coldplay/depeche mode etc. they're well worth a listen.

Ok, so I'm going to a festival, these are the bands/artists that are gonna play. I gotta admit that I don't know any of these bands very well. So if anyone's a fan of one/some of these. I would love a best of of maybe 10 songs![]()

Well for Coldplay, you definitely need to listen to all their albums. Also, there should be a Best Of Coldplay sticking around in this thread.
Glasvegas - they are pretty crap, so I don't know if I would bother
Paulo Nutini - listen to New Shoes, 10/10, Jenny Don't Be Hasty, Last Request, Rewind, Candy, Coming Up Easy & Pencil Full of Lead. I think you would really like Paulo Nutini actually.
I'll be honest with you, I've only heard those 3 artists out of the list you posted.
