About to listen to these four albums I picked up for $12. Can't do better than that....if they suck so be it, if they're good then that's even better.

    Which albums did you buy?
  2. Los Valentinos - Serio
Crystal Thomas And The Flowers Of Evil - Self-Titled
The Miller's Tale - Wish It Away
Dub Sweden - Done With Loveless Days

And the fifth - the best title ever. Michael Learns To Rock - Colours. Rock on dude. I'm picking these up for a bargain, and sometimes they're good, sometimes they're crap and sometimes I give them away because they're so fucking bad. At least it opens me up to all kinds of styles.
  3. You should've seen me play football/soccer today... What a game!

Me and my mate against three other friends... And we played unreal and kicked their asses. Did get really tired and dehydrated in the heat though! But it sure as hell was fun.

    Saying that was random

  5. Random but cool. If I ever come over to Sweden, I'm hitting up a game of soccer with ya.

I can't believe I've been on u2start for nearly five years. How the place has changed.

I've been in the forums since the start of this year... How was this place five years ago then?
  7. http://u2start.com/help/changelog/

The banner was a white one with Bono at one point, there were a lot less show recordings even for the shows before Vertigo and the torrents, photos, shop, videos etc have all pretty much come along in years gone by. It was quite a small website when I first saw it and how it's changed is amazing.

I was the 180th member. There's now 47 000+ members and even people who used to post here don't really post any more. Funny things have included a collector constantly PMing people about a Joshua Tree pizza-box for one. Not sure what else there was.

It's probably the best general U2 site for the discussion part alone.

Cool, I can't imagine this site being small...

    I think I am member number 43030
  9. You would be right, and yes, at one point - well, it wasn't small but it was nowhere as big and focusing on big media such as torrents and videos. Had a few recordings going - can't remember the exact amount though or an approximate amount at least.

I know I registered here only for the Adelaide 2006 show and once I had that I wasn't going to come back. But then I decided it was so small it'll be good, and so I stayed and honestly, it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. Through this site I've picked up a few singles, heard some great shows, awesome discussions and even a bit of bootleg trading from here to all over the world.

Which reminds me: we should start up the trades thread again. Need some 360, ZooTV and JT shows.

Joining here was a good decision for me as well. I sure wouldn't have 56 versions of Streets in my iTunes if I hadn't joined. But the even better decision was clicking on that forum button and saying hello!
  11. You can never have enough Streets. Have you ever heard the 18-minute Bad?
  12. Why trade? Hoping for something that's not downloadable? Maybe you have something not available for download?

Because for me it's hard to see the reason for trading when you can just log on to this site or the other site...

    I have.
