On other days when I'm not busy I may go 'til 10am sleeping then go from there.

2 hours... makes me think you're not human! Five hours is pretty short too I think, but it gets you through the day.

I don't do much resting though
  2. I could do five hours but I get too tired way too quickly. And it does seem odd to most people but I have found a new way to be comfortable too.

Putting my head over the side of the bed and lying on my back. Odd but it works.

Now we know you're not human
  4. Going for a hike, setting up ma paypal, then a bounty of my new material is yours

I was also thinking - maybe you guys might like the idea of my consulting you on the direction of new songs?

A little like EBW or North Star
  5. Hahaha! It's just weird habits I have and unusual to most. I sometimes sleep on buses too when I'm going to work or out somewhere, so I also catch up there.

I can't sleep like that. I sleep in my bed and sometimes in the sofa when watching something on TV really late or really early. My dad can sleep anytime though.

    EBW is awesome
  7. Sometimes I just can't sleep. I try but I fail.

What with the creative direction do you mean, Cal? Tell me more as I am interested.
  8. If I'm allowed to play vocal police then I just feel like I should remind you that sleep is something the voice likes a lot

Listening to U2's Night and Day, such a fun vocal to sing. That crazy G5 head voice scream!
  9. That's probably why you could hear how bad certain parts were in those recordings and why I sounded out of breath.

But after doing those long-ish notes, you take a real hit to your throat and are hard as fuck to hold. A bad throat can't be too good for those styles of vocal at least.

Did you ever check out those videos I mentioned when we had our first vocal conversation?
  11. Yes and they did explain some interesting things. Difference between head voice and falsetto for one...it's only the head voice I can do.
