1. I can't believe that people are complaining about a setlist that has Even Better Than the Real Thing, Until the End of the World, Miss Sarajevo, ZOOROPA, Batman and MOS. It's only night one you guys, calm down. the "stagnant" does not mean it was a poor performance. (hell that would make all of leg one stagnant)

Like when i saw Pearl jam in 09, they hardly played any of their mainstream hits (which is why i wanted to go) instead they played songs that they hadnt played for ages and i had never heard. Diehard fans were saying that we were lucky to have them played, but i left the concert a bit pissed off, didnt get to hear better man, daughter, geremy etc.

saw pj myself in '09 and they mixed it up pretty good. played a huge amount of both see 10/31/09 jeremy, betterman, yellow ledbetter all included. perhaps you had a bad night?

edit: was just looking at the setlists from australia, which one were you at? there were a couple that were a little skimpy i must admit lol

    was at the adelaide show

  4. You have the best band in the world performing for one of the best crowds in the world and you are complaining about the set? This is a serious case of bitches gonna bitch.

Aside from that, how did Crazy Tonight/Discotheque/Please go?
  5. Hi everyone, good morning

I just woke up. I'm eager to watch/hear the Disco&Please snippets. Otherwise, normal setlist, it was to be hoped. I really think they might unveil Staring At The Sun or even a full Discotheque in the upcoming shows...

    Here's the remixed Magnificent:

pretty cool the rumours about a club album must be true cuz they seem to be slowly remixing the entire set
  7. I LOVE the remixed version of Magnificent!
I think the vocals could use just a little bit of work, mainly to get the reshuffling down, but I think the remix breathes a new life into this amazing song.
  8. I don't know if Magnificent works as much as it should or could. Maybe it's because I'm a bit surprised with it, but I'm not fond of it after one listening. That's kind of weird actually for me.

Can't wait to see/hear Crazy/Discothèque/Please. EDIT : Thanks Andrew, listening to it right now then.
  9. Uuuurgh that makes me so ANGRY: why don't they go on with playing Discothèque after Edge making the riff ? However, those snippets are the best ever in Crazy Tonight.
  10. Really liked the snippets, takes the remix up to a whole new level in my eyes (better then relax/two tribes snippets). I wonder now if they will keep it like this, or play discotheque in its entirity and stop being such a cock-tease
  11. That riff by the Edge at the end is incredible. The whole snippet rocks, but that's the highlight.
