  3. Mexico City1:
The new Magnificence version is not good. Parts of the lyrics are missing and we dont need tutu 2 times! The other versions are good. Except for the verses where i find that the guitar should sound more like a guitar than a keyboard.
The snippets on Crazy should be better worked out. And we dont need the Disco riffs after the song.
    It doesnt sound right.
The new Even Better version are great but there are also some parts of the original lyrics are missing as in Moment Of Surrender. And in Zooropa are also missing lyrics...
And in SBS are also in the last part unidentified lyrics.
And if the use FEZ from tape they should play Being Born after that!
Its great to hear and see so many different songs on the whole tour and some songs that really came out of nowhere but we need live versions of Stand Up Comedy, Being Born and White As Snow (maybe only Bono & Edge?).
And one question: has the extra cameras arrived at the stadium for a broadcast and/or a dvd???
  4. New rehearsels @U2gigs:
The first few songs were possibly by the techs, but the full band did indeed show up and played the big surprises. The songs rehearsed (in order as far as we can tell) were:

    1.Magnificent
    2.Zooropa
    3.City Of Blinding Lights
    4.Vertigo
5.Even Better Than The Real Thing
--- We believe there was a break here ---

    6.Unknown Caller
    7.Love Rescue Me
    8.Ultra Violet (Light My Way)
    9.Out Of Control
10.Even Better Than The Real Thing

  5. Out Of Control

Also hope they play Unknown Caller and Love Rescue Me, not my favourites but welcome changes in the set
  6. Regardng terrorstitch's video captures...

Even Better is a cool opener. Sounds cool, looks cool per The Claw...but I've never seen the band look so bored during a 360 performance. Seriously. I understand that The Edge has a whammy pedal to operate, so he can't be dancing around like he got to on all the other openers...but Bono? Just standing there? The man was practically having seizures to warm up the crowd when Breathe kicked off, and his pump-up during Stingray was the greatest, most pompous, most EFFECTIVE crowd control he's had on an opener since Zoo Station. The song going into BD...whatever. The song as an opener?! Dude! I would have LOVED to been able to feel that energy that he put into the crowd. They fed off each other. The band are like statues during EBTTRT. Bono needs to step this up, seriously.

Zooropa, however, was mesmerizing. I sat jaw dropped in awe for the entirety of the video. If they drop this at all, ever, from here to the end, I will hang my head in shame of supporting this tour. They cannot keep screwing up the golden moments they started with and replacing them. They hit the nail right on the head with Zooropa...now stop messing around and let it be.

    /soapbox
  7. Agree about Zooropa^ And holy shit, Bono's voice is good. I don't think he could have sung this good on ZooTV.

Crazy now has so much of Disco' in it it's almost a Crazy/Disco' medley with a Please snippet. Pretty awesome!
  8. I agree Matt!
