1. Wow. They've been playing so well at these support shows, Matt's been on fantastic vocal form, and randomnly playing Citizen Erased!? Didn't think they'd play that one at a support show! Was immense hearing a snippet of 'The Fly' after Hysteria tonight. They should really join U2 onstage before the SA shows finish and to the full song. Would be so great
  2. I really think that it's U2 who don't want to share stage with Muse. They're afraid.

  3. LOL Sergio, I don't know if i would call it "afraid", more like "nervous it'll outshine the rest of the show"
  4. Today I've watched the HAARP DVD. It was awesome, rocked a lot harder than I thought it would. Some songs were pretty similar to each other though.

This was awesome, but Matt seems to lack Bono's connection to the audience. But still, a fucking awesome DVD!

Absolutely. You won't find any glasses exchanging, 4-minutes-speeches or bringing fans onto stage on Muse's shows. You will just find one of the best bands (if not THE best) of the current musical scenario, and an incredible amount of energy, dedication and passion in each performance. Not trying to sound ironic or whatever, I'm just being honest.

I agree, the DVD shows three amazing musicians playing their songs excellently with sick energy. BUT I kinda like it when the audience is in it more Therefore, U2 still beats Muse for me
  7. Yeaahh!! U2 has been, is and will always be MY band, and I wouldn't like them that much if they didn't connect with their audience in the way they do. But Muse's music is -specially in their first albums- better in a purely musical way, and they perform like gods night after night.

Matt is probably 100 times better than Edge technically, melodically though, Edge will always beat any fretboard marathon runner

Muse are completely fucking awesome, but U2 is a little bit better

HAARP was my introduction to Muse too, i was the same in regards to similar sounding sounds, but after a couple of plays through the albums that goes away. Which songs did u enjoy?
