1. I wouldn't have bought the Green Day album, but now you have done it, let it be the first...

...After that you easily better it with both Boss records (The Rising first, then the legendary Darkness)...

...And then go into the depths of 3 of the the best albums of the whole decade. First Absolution, then Origin, then HAARP. Then Absolution again

Sorry, I've already ruined your plan. Started with The Rising and then I watched the HAARP DVD with my dad. I think I'll try to follow that plan from now though No school tomorrow, so I'll have time to do some listening.

  3. Why not? I think Olof has made an excellent choice buying American Idiot as it's a masterpiece
  4. Darkness last. It's the best you have up there by far. I like it's tone as a final play rather than something in the middle. Such a heavy emotional record. it will really leave you feeling like you haven't felt before when listening to an album
  5. Listening to American Idiot. On track 7, Give Me Novacaine, I belive some drummer listened to BTBTS. The drums are almost exactly the same.
  6. You mean BTBS, don't you? You wrote an additional T there

@Kieran It might be their best (the cover is awesome at least), but I never was too keen on Green Day in general. They surely have some masterpieces of a song, but I think they're an overrated studio band. Can't judge them as a live band, though, I've heard lots of goods and bad things about them.

  7. You're right! But well, it is almost exactly the same drum part.

On last song now. Decent album, but most songs aren't good enough to remember. It's not like listening to Achtung Baby for the first time, after that one listen you already remember every song.

Also the songs could be a bit more different from each other, now their sounds kinda blur together, almost everything has the same sound.

At first I thought I was listening to Bullet.
  9. This is even closer
