1. They should release another one but they won't. There's just NA shows ahead. And you don't want another DVD with crowd a la Pasadena.
  2. Brazil 2 would be ideal. Then we'll get real thing, zooropa etc.
  3. The other option would be to release a glastonbury DVD.
  4. Wont do that ,copyrights belong to BBC very messy to release that especially if it does'nt work out.Sth American Concert would be the best route to take especially as the crowds are on fire, check U23d or AC/DC at Riverplate for evidence.
  5. I agree with the hope for a Glastonbury release. Shouldn't cost too much. It's already all proshot i believe
  6. I think U2's objective for a concert DVD has been flawed. I think they want to get all the HI-Tech cameras, and they want Cornish Hamilton to have free rein with his shaky cameras never holding still for more than 2 seconds. They focus on one or two shows, which means if those two shows aren't great, then so what, it will be the dvd...The focus has been overly visual.

A better objective: Film 10-15 shows with cheaper but decent cameras, and try to re-create the concert experience. I turn my head around and look at Bono, The Edge, Adam, and Larry. I might look around the crowd once or twice, but mostly, I look at the stage. I also happen to focus. When watching some of Cornish's dvds I feel sick.

The Rose Bowl show wasn't horrible, but if I had a professional dvd of Raleigh, North Carolina, I would have the best of the 3 shows I attended, and that show was better than the other 15 shows I have at least watched part of on You Tube, or snippets from various websites.

I know Raliegh will never see the light of day. U2 couldn't be bothered with it. I suggest they do record 10-15 shows on the last leg, and make it a two disc set:

Disc One: One complete show...whichever is the best.
Disc Two: The Best Performances from 360 that they have on file from the entire tour...
Your Blue Room, Zooropa, Electrical Storm, etc. Maybe even a rehearsal with Drowning Man

Yeah, a pipe dream, but my idea makes music the focus, not Stupid Slashing Camera angles, not how advanced the Cameras are...just a super audio recording, and a decent film quality that keeps the camera focused for more than 2 seconds at a time...maybe no big movements other than slight panning/zooming.

  7. Please give is a indoor show DVD, we wanna see them close!
  8. Kind of hard if its an stadium tour...
  9. Closest to indoor you get is in Amsterdam I gues

But I would love another DVD (: Maybe the Canada show?? (:
  10. Yes.I think the band should release another DVD.I thought Rose Bowl was good, not great.I think the band should release CDs,mp3/flac downloads on their website of their gigs.I dont know why they refuse to do this.
The band obviously have the cash to film numerous nights from ANY tour,EVERY SHOW.How they didnt release any of the NYC shows from Oct 2001 is a sin,IMO.The 2 shows I attended at Giants Stadium, Sept 2009, were very good.I think (yes,Im biased) better than the Rose Bowl.
If the band play 2 nights in 1 city, they should film both nights, and take the best bits and make a DVD.Dublin 2009 they played 3 nights. Why not film the 3 shows ???
Milan 2009 Night 1,was amazing. They played 2 nights.Milan July 2005,2 nights, amazing. Why not at least release these great shows as a full concert DVD, if not HOW ABOUT A CD/MP3 RELEASE ?
  11. Yes.
