  2. Definitely a contender for the best debut album of all time.

  3. Yep...

but Appetite For Destruction, Definitely Maybe, and Ten might also take that one. The thing with Led Zeppelin is they produced better stuff where as the other three albums (from bands I adore - not trying to slag them at all) are arguably their best albums.
  4. I agree about Appetite For Destruction for G&R and Ten for PJ, but not about Definitely Maybe... To my eyes, Oasis' masterpiece is Morning Glory.

Oh, and LZ1 is probably the best debut album in history, yes.

All of them, I'd also take them as contenders. I would probably put Boy in that list too.

I prefer Morning Glory too - mainly because of Don't Look Back In Anger, Wonderwall & Champagne Supernova being in one album. Just magnificent.
  6. i am a bit lost
a debut album can't be a contender if the band makes a better album after?

ps: far away from me saying that the Oasis one is the best

  7. It's finally time for this one.
