    What a fucking moron.
  7. shit. they dip their toes into experimental waters with NLOTH, it's a (relative) failure, and so any chance of zooropa part 2 goes out the window. they don't get the notion that it wasn't experimental enough, and that's why people didn't react the way they wanted. it was sort of trying to be experimental and mainstream at the same time and wound up being neither. they need to nail their colours more firmly to the mast next time!

that said, as long as we don't get an album full of ABOY soundalikes, i wouldn't mind another simple set of pop songs.

  8. I would. I really really would.

They don't get how epically mediocre HTDAAB was.
  9. oh yeah, don't get me wrong, i'd much prefer another Pop. but if they do another album of ATYCLB sounding stuff, as long as it's not lazily written and lyrically poor, i'd take that over nothing at all.
  10. great

Agreed. I would prefer U2 going back to their 90's way of doing things, (Zooropa, Passengers, Pop) but if we're going to get a rock/pop album, as long as its well written I wouldn't mind that. Especially since their latest experimental venture turned out to be pretty bad.
