1. come on Rummy

  2. Well it appears I got two tickets for the Sept 11th show. The seats aren't the greatest but I'll be there. I actually had to order them by PHONE (voice-automated!!!!) as the ticketmaster website was either down/overloaded/blocked-at-my-work so hopefully everything worked out. I should be good as I have a confirmation number.

    Here's hoping they play "Alive."
  3. very glad you did it!
great times waiting for you ... U2 .. PJ

  4. I think Soundgarden are playing around here on July 2nd as well. I've never seen them, so I should also try for that one, too.

    We'll see.
  5. Well, I just can say that Pearl Jam is my favorite band after U2, I think that their lyrics are beautifl, in my opinion, the lyrics are very important, not just the music and for me, U2 and Pearl Jam have the most beautiful ones.

  6. absolutely .. Ed lyrics are often some gems of poetry touching such a variety of arguements .. and it's since the beginning .. Alive is one of the most beautiful touching bitter releasing deep lyrics ever written.
the others have done pretty well too .. thinking at Other side by Jeff for example

I'd like to go to both nights but realistically I'll just attend one. Even that's a tough call to make, however, when a band like PJ will likely play an entirely different set on the second night - unlike SOME other bands....

Ha ha..well said.....my 2 shows in NYC last May are a great example of that...
  8. finally i got the time to buy and listen to Ukulele songs.
i thought that an entire album just with a four chords little guitar and voice could have been quite boring but .. i've listened to it three times in a row and .. it's not.
his amazing voice can be more appreciated .. if it's possible
i think Eddie is one of the very few in the world that can stand at this kind of project .. and i'm not far from the truth i guess
    awesome package too
waiting now to get the dvd

I'll definitely have to give this one a try. I could use some mellow music these days. Thanks for the review/recommendation.
  10. who knows if Mike has really listened to it

  11. The recording of Pearl Jam’s 10th studio album is underway earlier than anticipated, according to RollingStone.com. The site caught up with frontman Eddie Vedder at the Los Angeles studio where the band has been working, noting that the project is “coming together faster than the band expected.” Vedder remarked at the beginning of the interview, “I don’t want to jinx it, but it’s on!”
