And the falsetto of Lemon is not that high in tone. Just bright.

Is it ? Could be, I'm not that technical, I just tried to explain what I hear.

Something I'd love to see on this leg, just to see what it would be like over 20 years later, is God Part II. That would be exciting to hear what it would actually sound like.

But, if there is going to be an addition - I'd say something from Achtung Baby. As much as I want The Fly (since it's almost my favourite U2 song), I cannot see it being in this leg. I'm thinking Tryin' To Throw Your Arms Around The World, frankily. But there's me hoping that they remember that rehearsal in Turin where they did actually play it. Also, that Crazy/Discotheque medley might even turn into Crazy and Discotheque being two separate full songs, which would be awesome.

Yeah sorry for going off topic there...

    God Part II sounds interesting
    Not a fan of TTTYAATW.

About the others, ok, but they're not songs that are constantly high or am I wrong ?
I mean, it's not à la Lemon, Daddy's Gonna Pay or Mysterious Ways - ZooTV style is it ?
We can't expect that from Bono anymore I believe.

They played Pride all last leg
Edge sang pretty high notes on the Fly last tour, maybe he could do a solo for lemon
Crazy tonight and Moment of surrender actually have some high notes too (on the chorus)
  4. TTTYAATW would be such a great addition to the set, it's one of my favourites from AB.

Pride is played often, not every gig... more of a second and third night treats up to now! today´s show might change it!
  6. Give me EBTTRT, AIWIY, Stay, Zooropa, and HMTMKMKM over Mercy, North Star, EBW, and Glastonbury any day.

  7. Tend to agree here...the second five have to be released before they'll have any "umph" at a live show.

Definitely. Their appeal was that they weren't released before. They are good songs, some more than others, but all they are is just promising right now. EBTTRT, Zooropa, and HMTMKMKM have been integrated into the show more, and that's why I'd rather see them more.

Yes that is why i love this leg more. I don't care for the new songs. Leg 3 in Europe was nice for them but not anymore. the new mercy isnt all that good imo, North star is still too neutered, Stingray is good but Even Better tramples over it.

I tend to agree that most of the appeal of the new songs is in the novelty value, but the new version of Mercy has quite grown on me, and in comparison to the other new songs it sounds the most like a finished product.

Has anyone else considered that if those songs we've heard on the tour are the best of the unrecorded material then the unrecorded material might actually just not be very good?
  11. Good grief, that was an awkward sentence. Pretend you understand what I meant.

I get that vibe too, Im like most of the new songs. But none of them amaze me to the point of justifying a new album being their best. -____- maybe that's why they dropped them.

But also, All I Want, Stay, Even Better, and Zooropa make this show probably the best yet. (Good riddance In a Little While)
