1. Charlie Brown

A release date for their new album must be just around the corner i think
  2. Thank you very much Yeah
  3. Love new single. Will download the show, thanks Yeah.
  4. Cheers for the boot, Yeah
  5. Thanks very much, Yeah!

Just bought the Every Teardrop is a Waterfall single off iTunes.
  6. Originally posted by yeah:2 Coldplay gigs in a row. Friday on the field, Saturday on the sofa. I had worse weekends. Not sure if it's a wise move if 1/3 of your set is completely unknown to the (non-Coldplay) crowd, but it's a brave one without a doubt. I bet Bozer is shitting his pants.
Some good stuff in there. Hurts like heaven is an amazing opener - hope they'll do an arena tour in autumn.

Anyway, here's my (audio) recording from last night - it's from the satellite TV feed, not from the Webcast. I might upload my recording from Rock im Park, too if I can save it from the broken HD of the iriver (should go back to good old MD).

First of all, sorry to hear about the broken iRiver HD - I hope you're able to recover your recording and everything else that was there. If you need any help (which I doubt, but...), drop me a line, I've had several awful experiences with data loss, etc. and I know how to deal with that pretty well..

Thanks for sharing the TV feed! I recorded the webstream since the 5th song but the quality was shit, with plenty mistakes, glitches, etc. So thank you

And good to know you enjoyed the RiP festival too. Let me ask you, how did the crowd receive the new songs?
  7. Is the HD really mechanically broken? If not you still have a decent chance
  8. Aaah.this is hard Do I wanna download a boot or do I want them to completely surprise me

  9. Are you aware of the setlists already? If you are, I can't see why wouldn't you download a boot just to see how the new songs sound (let me tell you: very good), maybe you can even learn some lyrics - that's awesome, singing along to new songs that the 99'99% of the audience don't know yet

  10. Lukewarm I'd say, which is understandable. It's a festival crowd, no one had heard a single note of the new stuff before, so everybody just listened or slightly clapped along.
Some of the new stuff is quite good (Hurts like heaven, Charlie Brown) others are soso (Major Minus) or crap (Us against the world).
Every teardrop could become Coldplay's Elevation - crap studio version but a live hit. I don't really remember Princess of China.

As for the HD, it looks like some contacts/chips have melted. At least it doesn't smell or look too good. I'll see what I can do next week.
  11. Havn't been keeping up to date with my CP news, excited to hear about the new album. Downloading the show now, thanks for sharing it Yeah
  12. listened to Every Teardrop is Waterfall 3 times now. its growing, slowly. like the sound of most of it but the lyric "i turn my music up, i got my records on" gives me the shits. and like somone else said after 4 other albums why do u still need to sample other peoples music?
