1. Ok, track 6.
  2. OK Computer was a bit overrated IMO - In Rainbows is much better.

And there really isn't any band like U2, definitely not Muse - Coldplay probably come closest to the ATYCLB/HTDAAB era U2 but they do not capture the feel of their 80s and 90s work.

On Coldplays new stuff - Johnny Buckland is sounding very Edge like as usual and anyone else think the verse melody in Hurts Like Heaven sounds like an Arcade Fire tune (they are using their producer after all).

I wasn't comparing two bands but their innovation and imagination. When you hear 'Map of the Problematique', you hear something that's very different from what other bands do. They're the band that shape the future of music, just like U2 did in early 90-ties. Bellamy and Jack White are the most important rock musicians today, IMO.

Coldplay...is a good band. Good band that isn't capable of pushing the boundaries of the whole music industry or something like that.
  4. Regarding Bellamy and White (White especially)- both of whom I like, and enjoy a fair amount of their music-....I shall quote a great poster my senior year English teacher had hanging in her classroom:

"You are not an artist simply because no-one understands you"

I do not think "experimental" and "important" are the same things. Though that's neither here nor there, and simply my opinion
  5. I hope I can give you guys a link tonight for Coldplays Pinkpop show. But it isnt clear if the show will be broadcasted live on internet, radio or TV. Rumours are that Coldplay dont want to.

  11. I like Fix You late in the setlist, like now. I didn't like it as the 5th-7th song, which happened most of the VLV Tour. Great to see it back at the end of the show.
