1. Olof, there are two main things that one should have known before going into the U2start forums:

1 - You have to obey the House Rules...and,
2 - Aaron is NEVER going to change his mind, no matter how weak are his arguments or how many different-thinking people tell him he's wrong.

Haha, I kinda knew that I've read some funny topics like this one: The 'Post here if you really have nothing better to do or you're Aaron' topic

I'm generally bored when I'm at the computer though and do things to make time pass. And one can always try

  3. Clinton fails.
  4. What do you people think about Siria?

I find it astonishing how the NATO/UN approved the attack to Libia in less than 2 weeks, but ignore the hundreds and hundreds of people killed, imprisoned, raped, murdered, kidnapped, etc etc in Siria during the last 2 months. Astonishing.

Here's a VERY shocking image of a guy injured during a peaceful demonstration in Damasco.
DON'T see it if you're sensible...

They probably think that Libya didn't turn out to well and are afraid of having it all over again.

I also think it could be a question of military resources.

  6. Ha! Really? The United States are a main part of the NATO, and the US have the biggest army on Earth. They don't lack any military power or resources. If you add UK, France and others, then the only reason is that... oh, well, there's not as much of crude oil.

Yeah, but I don't think they want to have too many of their troops in one place if something else happened.

And, doesn't China have the biggest army in the world?

Libya was 'dealt with' as the West has oil needs. The Rebels are already trading oil with us. Syria has nothing to 'offer' in that regard The UN/NATO have no moral compass. It is a disgrace.

What is happening in Syria is far worse than in Libya in my opinion. There could be genocide if something isnt done now.
  9. The U.S. army is probably the strongest one though, much more advanced than China's.

If you base your life around what others think of you, you'll be disapointed.
