People are worrying too much. U2 are big boys, they can take the heat. They are also serious professionals when it comes to performance with immense experience of big events. They'll be great!
As for reception by the crowd, they'll be won over. U2 will be way better than any 'big name' headliner of recent years that I care to think of; Coldplay, Gorillaz, JayZ, Bruce. Have faith people!
