1. At my 360 show the band "Interpol" will be the opening act. I wish I could have gotten Lenny or Muse though. I'm deciding whether I should see them or just wait for U2.
So I'd like to ask: Has anyone heard of Interpol, are they any good, and would it be worth it to see them opening?
  2. This is bad...was it them or someone else who opened in NA back in 2009? Got it: Snow Patrol.

Obviously I am of no help here but I would always recommend seeing the opener just in case one day you end up loving them as much as you love U2.

    good one! jk
I probably will but I'm not sure it'll be worth it, and I'd rather the first song I hear live be "Even Better Than The Real Thing" than something like "Public Pervert"
  4. They're not worth it in my opinion. They have a few good songs (I particullary enjoyed Say Hello To The Angels, and the singer noticed it and smiled to me - I couldn't care less), but overall they wouldn't be worth of attending a concert on their own... I can't see why you shouldn't be killing time around, buying merch, doing whatever.
  5. I hate em.
  6. If you are GA, you don't really have much of a choice. I was lucky to have gotten Lenny as the opener. Although it was my first time seeing them perform, they blew me away right before U2 did again.
  7. I saw Interpol years ago in a small venue, just after they released their first or second album. I absolutely loved them.

Then I saw them opening up for U2 last year in Brussels and I didn't like it one single bit.
  8. I like a few of their songs like Slow Hands, Evil, and C'mere. I will be happy with their set if I get to hear Evil. Don't think I'll enjoy them as much as Snow Patrol though.
  9. saw them in paris last year and didn't think they were anything special.
