    Gotta be a generation thing............Supremes for one,Bananarama for two,you've got Girls Aloud now........talent shows finding artists,not in it for the music these ladies.Make a lot of money,go get yourself a footballer for a husband,everyones happy........

    Supremes were more soul music for me. Bananarama would qualify. But still the Spice Girls with all that 'Girl Power' thingy and 43 million albums sold have had a huge influence on the music world. You can't deny that.

    At the end of the day, Bono writes a song for the most successfull Girlgroup in the music history. I can't really see the drama.

    And I can't believe that I defend the Spice Girls...
