Watching Lethal Weapon right now - classic stuff. Load of toot, but classic nonetheless.
  3. I've been ill, so I've watched ridiculous amounts of tv over the last 5 days. The last movie I watched was the Russell Crowe/ Cate Blanchett version of Robin Hood, which I'd not seen before. What a fucking disaster. If you haven't seen it, don't bother. I haven't been so simultaneously confused and bored since John Howard was Prime Minister.

I thought it was allright. It just had a bring middle.
  5. Gladiator. Awesome film, awesome score. Win all 'round.

EDIT - that said, just whacked Kingdom of Heaven on halfway through 'cause I had a medieval urge. And that isn't a euphemism.
  6. Sucker Punch. much better than I thought it would be.
The critic's trashed this film when it was released. But, with gorgeous women in revealing outfits, fantasy, action, pumping soundtrack and a great story, what's not to like?.
  7. I finally saw X-Men:First Class on the weekend and loved it. Not perfect, but SO much better than the last X-Men movie. Highly recommended for comic geeks and non-geeks alike.

'Tis on my list of films to see when I get a couple of few weeks to chill that and generally all the other Marvel adaptations being released at the moment. Hopefully Thor will still be in cinemas when that time comes.
  9. Inception.
  10. Lawrence of Arabia.

Classic...but those musical scores of pre-1970's movies really get on my nerves after a while.
  11. "Midnight in Paris" (2011)

I've got a newfound spring in my step thanks to this movie.
  12. Empire Records
