    Doen't edge play ? Is it just a backing track ?
  2. Even Better has an overdub that he plays along with, the rest are played live, to my knowledge anyway. Could have been asked in the Guitar Thread really

  6. "Mysterious Ways" doesn't have the solo for the same reason that "With Or Without You" doesn't have the 'Shine Like Stars' coda -- They wanted to make things more concise and leave room for more songs.

    Elevation tour avg was 21-22 songs a night. Now there is 23-24.

    Easy to argue that by cutting these two bits out, they cut out two of the best bits, but that is the story.



    I don't get the "Edge doesn't enjoy playing" guitar any more comments. Complete bollocks.

    Of course he enjoys playing...You can see it in his face when he performs, when he talks in interviews, and he wouldn't be doing it anymore if he seriously didn't enjoy it. It's not like he needs the money or anything.
