1. Decent sounding recording up on dime. Poor Bono sounds shattered on the Beautiful Day sample. Get that man a bed.

  2. did you not realize that before?

  3. They taught me that god hates people
The best part though, was that there was a guy dressed as gumby, and another as his horse, and as they were trying to preach to people gumby would walk up in fron of them and start interacting with the people in the line. Posing for pictures, giving hugs, etc. It was incredibly humorous XD

They more than took note. They just stood there for a few minutes after streets just drinking it in. It's obvious that they get just as much back from us as they give and it's cool seeing it.

    Boooooooooooooooooo

  4. Can someone upload it here? I'm on vacation and don't have access to my computer. My mom has hers but it would just be too much of a hassle getting dime going on it.

I was praying we'd get that achtung baby opener and as soon as I heard those first few notes of the fly I lost my mind. My first u2 show was on the vertigo tour so I never got to see any of those songs (and I didn't really get to see them this time either since I had a photographer standing, elevated, right in front of me for the first 3 songs) so it was just incredible. Someone said something about iwf being weird following uteotw and I didn't think about it then but it is interesting. It must fit though because when I saw them getting out the explorer I knew it was iwf, not bd. I think bono felt he had to make up for all the political speech he didn't do at glastonbury because I feel like there was quite a bit more than usual. But the rest of the banter was really great. I always get the feeling that they sincerely love Michigan. They said something about wanting to go up to the lake, and how "edge always says when he grows up he wants to get a little cabin on lake Michigan when he grows up" the crowd was incredible as always. I really believe Michigan crowds are the best in the country. If you listened closely you could even hear us all singing along all throughout stay . When they started miss sarajevo I was kind if meh feeling, but I ended up really enjoying it. The way it was performed was just great, especially with Bono singing from the bridge as it slowly moves across the stage was lovely. And the opera part.... Especially the end, he really put his all into it and it was fantastic (I'll come back to his voice later). Then the screen started stretching out with all those questions on it and I really didn't know what was coming. Then it happened. Zooropa. . I had forgotten it was coming so when I heard the first little riff I completely lost my mind (again) I really about pooed myself it made me so sad though to see everyone in the inside circle who had just been going as crazy as I was, except during elevation, just stand there
With this look Kinda like "well this is interesting" sort of thing. Then cobl started and it took me right back to the palace 6 years ago. I feel like I'm in the minority here sometimes, but I really like that song. I think it's just great live. Then the crazy remix. I've hated it since the minute I heard it on the first Barcelona bootleg, but I kept hearing people say it's actually really fun when you're there...... Still hated it . Adam boogeying down right in front of us was fun though. Walk on totally took me out of the concert though. Was not feeling that one bit. And I feel like the crowd wasn't too into it either. I'm glad they stopped doing the thing with the masks but the lanterns are still really cheesy . Streets was amazing as always. And just like last time, Bono was amazed himself by the reaction of the crowd . I was so amazingly excited waiting for them to come back for hmtmkmkm. I was standing there just bouncing up and down the whole time waiting them to come back. And it didn't disappoint. As soon as bono reemerged he just jumped up on that mic and started swinging around immediately (and this was pretty much the intensity they had for the whole show) and carried that energy for the rest if the song . The crowd particularly shined during wowy. Great oh oh's. They dedicated mos to Clarence Clemens, which was nice. And his rap at the end was different, I don't know what it was but right before they started the song Bono said something to edge who relayed it Dallas and when it was time someone handed him a piece of paper that he read it from....

Overall incredible show. The band was great. Awesome energy. And bono's voice was pretty good for the most part but definitely had it's weak spots.

I won't be forgetting this night. One of the most incredible concert experiences I've had
And can't wait for the bootleg

Yes mostly this.....The Fly? Miss Sarejevo? Stay? Scarlet? AAaaargh! Lost my mind. I was very impressed with the crowd. Many others stayed on there feet for most of the show as well! And they sang along too. Someday I will be on the floor but for Chicago, St Louis and Minneapolis I have seats. Maybe I will still hang out by the GA line for a while to meet fans! But don't worry I have seats and won't fight you all for your spots!

    if you say so...

i'm not sure. i did, however, see the drunk guy who was behind us for a little bit who had pissed himself

how he got drunk remains a mystery..... which reminds me, i found all the vendors walking around selling concessions pretty ridiculous. especially the ones forcing their way through the middle of the inner circle selling cotton candy and whatnot. i made a joke before the show that they were gonna be in there throughout the entire show selling stuff and imagined them in their during streets with everyone jumping and stuff trying to sell things XD. little did i know they would actually be in there for the whole concert
