1. Because of:
    Breathe
    Magnificent
    In A Little While
    Unknown Caller
    The Unforgettable Fire
    Crazy Tonight (Remix)
    MLK

That and the overall lack of pace in the set made it poor for me. It got better while the tour evolved.
  2. quoting your own words is poor, but what else can I do......

today...... 2 years ago.... already 2 years.... the opening night happened.... now as the whole tour is close to its final..... 2 years and it still feels like yesterday....

a whole year has passed by already, can you believe it.....

I looked at the date this morning and I felt that all too familiar rush in my system that brings back the memories of the day the tour began..... the day I got up at 3am in the night and went on a plane... and saw the sunrise above the clouds.... while my ipod brought up Drowning Man..... "rise up, rise up, with wings like eagles... I'll cross the sky for your love..... this love lasts forever".... sometimes it all falls into place and the song fit perfectly....... today one year ago, I walked into the heat that was Barcelona..... I still remember when I was on my way from my hostel to the stadium, I heard people talk Spanish and it all looked so excitingly unfamiliar in the streets and I didn't really know what to expect of the whole adventure.... and then it came up..... there it was, right in front of me...... Camp Nou..... big... impressive..... undescribable.... I remember I stopped dead in my tracks on the sidewalk and just stared up at that gigantic stadium walls...... I was there.... and as I walked on I saw the queue and thousands of fans in U2 shirts and I joined them and I was home and I met wonderful people there during all those hours of waiting in that unbearable heat..... people from the US, Belgium, Italy, Canada, a girl from Russia, some Dutch.... some u2start members as well.... it was a day to remember.... I can still feel the hair on my neck go up as the first bits of sound wavered out of the stadium.... Larry hitting the drums.... some Adam bass..... Edge's guitar..... I realized they were really there..... U2 was there.... for real.... and it all would begin that night...... I remember sitting in the queue and it was afternoon already and I was melting from the heat of Barcelona.... and suddenly Bono's voice floated out of Camp Nou... he was right behind me, just behind those huge walls of the stadium..... then.... the gates opened and the adrenaline began to float until it became unbearable..... finally inside..... down those stairs.... through those dark tunnels..... into the GA area.... a staff member grabbing my arm telling me to slow down..... I kept running.... I made it into the inner circle.... I bumped against the rail..... front row on Adam's side...... people around me screamed with joy like me as we realized how close we got and how lucky we were..... i remember the unrealness of it all....... I remember the La Ola wave rolling through Camp Nou hours onward.... Snow Patrol did one hell of a great job...... i remember the excitement when the lights went off and omg the band came on..... and I remember the show was blowing me away.... i remember the smile on my face and the shivers running through me and the tears floating down my cheeks during certain songs...... the first time of the 360 tour... it all happened there.... in the heat of Barcelona...... today..... one year ago..... and the memory of it is still strong...... alive..... you can never replace a first night...... when Magnificent roared for the first time.... the live chat with the ISS..... the screen unfolding during TUF..... the magic of Streets..... the roaring crowd during Vertigo..... the crazyness of Crazy Tonight..... One..... all of it and more....... I remember it today and I will remember it forever...... today, one year ago, the opening night of the 360 Tour

    /fairly emotional posting

  3. I still have mixed feelings about my trip but the opening night is still one of the greatest shows of the tour for me. I wouldn't have traded it. Great great week.
  4. today there's the same AWFUL heat as two years ago... 36ºC and not the highest we've had today...

Anyway, nice memories. Very nice. I wouldn't trade the trip and the concert either. The only thing I regret is not staying there for the second night... and the fact that my parents were actually a bit disappointed with the show
But anyway, I knew a lof of new and great, interesting people. And I eventually got to meet Remy and Gerard (http://twitpic.com/8tsvq) ... Webmaster, current crew manager and old new manager were there, representing U2start while surrounded by the largest amount of U2 fans I ever seen (and probably will see)...

    Great memories
  5. Wow, never seen that picture of all you three. Kind of strange

  6. The pic's from Remy, myself and Pieter (Zooropa431) though... We didn't get Gerard to be on any photo, he refused saying he was too famous to appear on twitter
  7. Haha ah that might make a bit more sense, he doesn't look very Irish to me (don't ask, we just know ) Not how I imagined Remy at all though
  8. Nice shirts
  9. What a day it was two years ago, will never forget. Amazing Toughest day also

  10. You guys are popular. That picture has been viewed almost 1,500 times
  11. My pasty white ass baking in the heat. The heat really did ruin my day. I was ill prepared for it and literally near sun stroked by the time I left the stadium.
