when is the best time to show up? any info on when the lots open up or rules for standing in line? coming from boston cant wait. due to health problem this might be my last u2 show. no regrets seen them 11 times over the years.. only song im waiting to hear is tomorrow of the october album.. one can hope.. at gillette stadium in foxboro ma, they wouldnt let anyone stand inline until 3pm..
Yeah best bet show up between 12:00 and 3:00 or earlier. Just depends on how the whole thing works out and where you want to be. No word on times and info on lots. In Miami the Sunlife Stadium sent an email about the info. Maybe they'll send an email like that. Also check up on the Heinz Field website. As it draws closer to the show there might be more info available there. In both Nashville and Miami they let people line up and camp out the night before but every stadium is different.

Hope your health improves also...I don't know how and I'm sure dozens of other people try this but if you've really seen them 11 times and this is your last chance to see them and you've always wanted to hear Tomorrow i'd try to get in touch with the band/management in some way and maybe they'd think about doing it. Especially with it being the last USA show of the tour. I have no idea how you would go about this at all and maybe it's just wishful thinking but they seem to be doing special surprises with some frequency lately so who knows!!
Thanks for the info.. As for my health. I beat renal cell cancer the first time. lost a kindney to it. went to hawaii for the last vertigo show. now cancer is swimming around again along with 2 heart attacks and a slew of other shit. but I will be there in pittsburgh rocking my brains out and also crying my ass off, because other than my wife and kids getting me through this shit the music of U2 has played a major part in all recoveries.. funny note I made the doctor play U2 during my 2 heart catherizations and emergency nerphectomy.. And if I should pass before the boys come back to boston I have given my wife instructions to try and get my ashes placed on the stage at the fleet center in boston.. never met the band would love to just to say thank you.. ENOUGH negitive. see you there in a couple of weeks. I'm the one wearing the green boston t-shirt..
I got in line at 9AM, and the girl next to me in the pit got in line at 4PM. Honestly I'll never show up to another show before 2 or 4 again, seeing as how many of the people in the pit showed up later. The spots that get taken the earliest are the rail spots, so if you want the very front row of the pit or the very front row of the outer rail against the catwalk, show up really early. But like I said, the girl that got there at 4PM was standing right next to me, so yeah.
Also, I could have had a rail spot- inner circle, back rail against the catwalk, Adam's side. I just neglected it cause I wanted to be in the middle. Middle and Edge's rail spots were completely full though.
