1. Hello lads...as some of you may have noticed, I'm not that active anymore nowadays on the forums because I'm way too busy with school .

However, when I'm travelling to school and back home I always listen to U2 ofcourse and last week I've listened to almost all Bad's I have on my MP-3 player.
The Bad's listed on that player are:
    - TUF Dortmund 1984
    - TUF East Rutherford 1985(the longest version)
    - Live Aid 1985
    - Conspiracy East Rutherford 1986
    - Joshua Denver 1987
    - Lovetown Point Depot 12-31
    - Lovetown Rotterdam 01-10-1990
    - Zoo TV Dublin 1993
    - Elevation Cleveland 2001
    - Elevation Boston 2001

But what is considered to be the best Bad ever(performance and audio quality together)? maybe this question is asked before, so in that case you can re-direct me to that topic.
  2. I love the one from point depot, its amazing
  3. 12 08 1993 London with J Shankar, absolutely beautiful
  4. In my opinion not all the Bad versions are comparable. So I made a split between the tours and give my favourite Bad of each tour.

    Unforgettable fire tour: Bologna 05-02-1985
Joshua tree tour: McNichols arena Denver 08-11-1987
    Lovetown: Ahoy Rotterdam 10-01-1990
ZOO TV: Wembley stadium London 12-08-1993
Popmart: River PLate Buenos Aire 07-02-1998
Elevation tour: MAdison Square Garden NewYork 25-10-2001
Vertigo Tour: United Center Chicago 12-05-2005

...and of course the Live Aid version!!!

  5. The best ILve Aid 85!!!!
    Version is so strong!!!!
  6. well,
I believe that the best Bad performance could be:
during the Joshua Tree Tour, it has a lot of great snippets (Beatles, Rolling Stones, etc...) and is very powerfull....

But also on other shows, during Elevation and LoveTown, there are great great versions...
  7. The (historically) most important version was the Live Aid in London 1985-07-13, and (also) for me it's the best. It has the best snippets (Ruby, Devil, Wild Side, Satellite) and a great energically performance.
  8. Defenitely the one from Live Aid.

Also Washington DC 1992 and Vertigo Chicago gets high for me.
  9. Did we not do this a while back? Live Aid still gets ,y vote, then New Year's Eve and the final Lovetown Rotterdam version
