1. The Shrine...A pretty good horror film with a twist that I didn't coming. Quite a slow burner at the start, so you will need to give it time.

  2. Went to the cinema tonight with some friends and my girlfriend to see "Horrible Bosses"- hardest I've laughed in a lonnnng time, the movie was absolutely hilarious. Charlie Day could sneeze and it would be funny.
  3. The Adjustment Bureau. Nice hats.

  5. Yes. Charlie Day, Jason Bateman, and Jason Sudekis want to kill their bosses (Jennifer Aniston, Kevin Spacey, and Colin Farrell respectively). It's seriously so funny.
  6. The Adjustment Bureau
    Requiem For A Dream

  8. "When you're strange"
    good film-documentary of The Doors
maybe it's a bit too short
  9. Waiting for Superman.

According to this film, public education is a mess in America. It's not that bad in Canada. How is it in other parts of the world?
  10. Raiders of the Lost Ark
  11. Skyline
    Battle : Los Angeles

Enjoyed both, wasn't expecting Shawshank (or any other classic piece of film history) but entertaining nonetheless. The latter was certainly better.

Also, The Princess Bride - now there's a classic film.

My education lecturer told me to rent that. Is it any good?

The general train of thought in Australia is that if you want to go to uni u need to go to a private high school in order to receive the best education and best possible grades. Which has led to a higher rate of growth in private school enrolments compared to state schools since the late 90s. Private schools generally have better learning environments and conditions, and best teachers, who they can hire and fire how they please. Wheras state schools get the teachers assigned to them and the school itself wont be as appealing as a private school. Most the teaching students in my year (myself included) say they hope to be employed in a private school once they graduate, i think that is a pretty good indicator of how public schooling is viewed in my state.
