1. Everytime there is a new post in this thread I get very excited there there is release news... Sadly I face continual and constant disappointment.

If I were to hazard a guess around release dates, I would say it would be once the tour has wrapped up and everyone has had some time off - Possible October/November so its around for Xmas

    Probably.

sorry we continue to disappoint you
  4. Any "news" would be sure to be seen in the headlines column on the leftside of the homepage.
  5. the best time to release it is in november when its birthday falls
  6. Seriously, I think it's gotta be Stockholm '92 or Washington '92 on the DVD/BR. People seem to prefer Stockholm over the Outside Broadcast Washington footage, but what's the problem with the DC gig? I watched these two and both of them are smooth, great gigs. Is it only that WGRYWH got captured in Sweden?

Both are indeed great gigs - two of my all-time favourite. I think you hit the nail on the head mentioning WGRYWH. If it's AB that's being celebrated, as many tracks from that album should be used. For this reason, some of us feel the ...I believe it's the Milan show...should be used since it also includes "So Cruel."

I am simply hoping that they at least include something relevant, as opposed to the lack of a full-show that was included two years ago with the UF remaster. They may use something from 1993 (I am hoping they don't) since Zooropa is also being reissued.

I can see them putting out the remastered CD, B-sides and unreleased as the second CD, and a documentary with some songs as the DVD. If it's purely a concert DVD, though, I can see them using a '92 show for it. Reason for that being that they'll need to leave Zooropa related stuff for release with the Zooropa set.

As for Zooropa being put out, the 2nd CD will probably have remixes and some unreleased stuff. If that will have a documentary with live songs as the DVD. However I can't really see a documentary being too extensive for this, so they'll probably throw in some live footage from the Zooropa/Zoomerang leg.

Personally, I'd like to see Achtung Baby get the treatment much like the Who did for the 40th Leeds Box, or the Quadrophenia Box they're probably putting out.

1 CD for the remaster, 1 CD for B-sides, unreleased and remixes, 1 DVD for Documentary + various songs, and 1 DVD full concert from 1992.
  9. I wonder if there will be a "mega" package where you get both AB and Zooropa together? They didn't do anything like that for Boy/Oct/War, did they?
