1. It's a shame this tour never made it to Japan, (considering the disaster its no longer possible) they would have loved 360 and made some amazing recordings.

I think it would cost lots of money moving this stage to places like Japan or Hawaii...

South Africa could've been a stop on the go to South America.
  3. Just saw the last show in Moncton is on a Saturday. I suspect the chances are very high for another live broadcast, the very last 360 show
  4. It is going to end,no question.Obviously, the band never intended to be on the road for 3 straight summers. After Bonos surgery,I thought the band might add some dates to the 2010 European Leg (Ireland,London etc). They did play Paris back to back summers.

IMO,they need to go back to arena's,the occasional stadium gig, here and there. They were very limited with the "stadium only' choice.Even ZooTV started out in arena's.The 360 stage is beautiful, but they dont need to have such an elaborate stage,IMO.

Go into the studio and make another ROCK ALBUM please. The songs from ATYCLB and HTDAAB (like them,or not) go over so well live. When the band play Boots or Crazy Brutal Remix,(piss break),all the life goes out of the show. Also, what the hell happened to SOA ???
  5. Id sign up for two final shows in Dublin/Ireland to wrap it up. Other than that (which isn't going to happen) im glad in a bittersweet kind of way that it is wrapping up
  6. Tour has been great but it is time to "Dream It All Up Again". I was at the show on Monday night and it was probably the best performance I have seen of the band out of the 11 times I have seen them in concert. A lot of the NLOTH songs dropped so it did have a Greatest Hits Tour feel to it. They say a new album by fall of 2012 but I think we all know that means 2013 at the earliest (with the exception of the Achtung Baby/ Zooropa Remaster this fall). 360 was amazing and I feel lucky to have seen three (3) shows on this tour as this probably will be their last "Big Stadium Tour". Looking forward in 2013-14 to seeing the band back in the arenas. Enjoy the rest boys!!!! You deserve it!!
  7. I think the 360 Tour has run its course. I do have to say that you can call it "Achtung Baby Promotion" or "The Greatest Hits Tour" the fact of the matter is that U2 brought The Claw to the table, a revolutionary stage that allowed them to perform stellar stadium shows, many of which sold out. I actually would like to compare this tour to the Elevation Tour, especially the second North American Leg and even more so regarding the homestretch. I do so because the band has been performing with a passion that is almost palpable. At the beginning of the tour, some of the common complaints were that the show seemed highly scripted and almost cookie-cutter (as cookie-cutter as a U2 show can possibly get, anyhow). In this last leg, you see the band perform and enjoy it to the fullest.

But above all else, unlike other bands who need to constantly release new albums to keep up, U2 has proven again and again that their live act is something that propels them further than their albums could have. Who would have imagined that the tour proceeding the release of NLOTH, one of their weakest albums, would turn out to be the largest grossing tour in history?

Of course, I wouldn't mind a new album and I would actually love to see where they go from here. It's going to be very hard to scale up and I feel that they may not return to arena shows because one of the main talking points of the 360 Tour is that it allowed more people to see the band and opened a cheaper price bracket. Returning to arenas will certainly increase ticket costs while decreasing the total amount of people able to see them perform live.
  8. There must have been some serious discussion by the band before 360 to do Stadiums. After Pop, love it by the way, and Popmart they were very clear and united: no more stadium tours.

That's were this tour comes down to the money. It was a cash grab. I really like NLOTH and have enjoyed all the shows I have seen this tour but put it away. It's over get some rest.
  9. Kinda glad its wrapping up, the guys would surely need a break and we will have the AB remaster to keep us happy until we get a new instalment of beach clips

Well, as far as I know they played two shows in South Africa on February of this year........
  11. Definitely it's time to let the boys go home. They've done enough.
