    Have to agree with you there. The crowd were more taken with City of Blinding Lights than they were with The Fly. Understandable, but I thought there'd be enough fans in the audience that would know and love The Fly to make enough noise for those who didn't. I went nuts, as did the people around me, but the audience as a whole definitely didn't care for it.

    Here's to being able to hear it before it (hopefully not) got knocked out of the set.
  4. I feel like the Fly is a hard song to "go crazy" to. It starts out really hard with the intro. Then the pace kind of comes down in the verses and chorus before coming back up for the solo and going down again until the outro. A great song for sure but weird one for the crowd to get into. Especially if they don't know.it.

  7. They drop their best songs because 60% of the people don't know it and don't care about the 40% that go nuts. This goes back to them playing to the lowest common denominator and playing songs for the casual fan.
  8. I don't really like the fact that they dropped The Fly, but I do like the fact that they played Magnificent the way it was intended to be played.
  9. Just got a txt message from my friends at the show this is what that asshole said.

    Dave the crowd is huge. The band sounds like some washed up bar band with some cheap light show. Take away the lights and there is nothing good about it.

    I don't know if I necessarily agree with that. The set does include Zooropa, Miss Sarajevo, Scarlet, Batman, and EBTTRT. Those are all songs that aren't for the lowest common denominator. Besides the Fly Idk what songs they've dropped that you really expected them to keep playing every nigbt
