Those of you who know me here will remember that I'm a vet. Part of what I do involves working with dogs who help humans. One of the main groups is Guide Dogs for the Blind; these dogs literally help blind people see.
In September, along with 5 colleaguesfrom work, I will be taking part in The Guide Dogs for the Blind Coniston Challenge.
We will do a 10k hike up the 5th highest peak in England (The Old Man of Coniston), a 17k mountain bike ride through a mountain trail and a 3k kayak on Coniston Water (scene of water speed records in the past). All in 10 hours.
We need to raise a minimum £2500 for this great cause.
If anyone here has a few spare pounds, Euros, dollars etc, I would really appreciate your help. I promise to post photos of me looking like a knackered prat!
