1. I can't help but wonder if when the band plays their last show they'll even know that it's their last.

  2. I hope it will be. Wed all love for them to have that storybook scripted ending. You just never know what life is going to throw your way. Here's hoping the boys get to ride off into the sunset happy healthy and with a sense of finality

I actually want them to sign off the 360 Tour with Kite.
I know that this is not goodbye.

After thinking about it, I can see no better way to close than that.

no better way to close their career than with kite..

lyrically it relates to everything about leaving, losing something/someone etc
  4. "KIte" is a beautiful song but I think they'd leave with something a little more mainstream/classic. That being said, it certainly is a worthy contender.
  5. i think kite is their best song since stay

  6. Kite is easily the most beautiful song, but even more so when performed live. I really liked it during the Elevation Tour, but I feel that they brought that song to a level all of its own during the Vertigo Tour. Just listen to the version on Window In The Skies. In my opinion, that version of Kite can be compared to (or even surpasses) the legendary performance of Bad during Live Aid.

This is why I'm sad that this gem hasn't seen more live acts, especially after Edge got to do his legendary extended solo.

and i got to see the first version of the ultimate version on the vertigo tour.. i still think the brisbane version is their best ever performance of the song, i can't even compare it to MoS as a closer
  8. Too much Kite praising over here... Let's destroy it by saying that, although it's an utterly emotional song, it's cheesy as hell and musically they have about 30 better tunes...

Bono is all about the "cheese."
  12. i can't see too many of the songs mentioned above being used to close a show?
