1. I love it that it bothers you,
that Edge messed up a few chords here and there...
... and that you think Bono should have stood up to sing.

    ???
    hahaha.

    If you ask me,
    this goes to show,
B & Edge, can still enjoy playing accoustic,
without worrying too much about being 'Tight.'
  2. I enjoyed it and confession, i enjoyed Stuck at Anaheim 2...

  3. It drives me nuts to see all the hate for Stuck on this site. It's a lovely song, and one that is obviously near and dear to their hearts since it's you know, about their good friend who died...
  4. i love stuck
  5. I think the "hate" for songs like "Stuck" and even more so, "In a Little While" stems from them being a bit overplayed on this tour - at least in 2009/2010. They are two solid U2 songs from a very good album. I would also like to add, however, that they aren't as good as "Walk On" or "Kite" nor do they pack the live punch of "BD" or "Elevation."
  6. well ATYCLB is my favourite album..
i think everything on there bar wild honey is amazing
  7. Gotta say I thought the performance on Letterman was great. Sure it would've been neat if they busted out North Star, but then again maybe we'll be hearing that in year or two's time.

I have to be in the right mood for Stuck, and today I was in it, so I really enjoyed it. Agree with Sergio that they should've stood up, but then again it was almost like a little campfire performance, and you could tell Bono was givin' it all he had, and he sounded pretty great. Laughed a bit at the bridge section, they play that song quite often on this tour and he STILL messes the lyrics up! Funnily enough I was reading U2byU2 (again...) today and I just finished reading the section where Bono's discussing his performance of Blowin' In The Wind with Bob Dylan, and how he makes up his own lyrics for the song because he can't remember the original lyrics, let alone the lyrics for his own tunes.

We're so lucky to still have these guys performing the way they do, and sounding as good as they do.

Idk, I like it sometimes but they play it much more often then songs that are near and dear to them. Thinking about Sometimes, One Tree Hill, Tomorrow, Lemon, Kite. etc. Why Stuck? I think cuz they know it's pretty easy and gets a good cheer
  9. But that doesn't mean it can't be geniune and stuff, like the Letterman version I felt was actually touching
  10. I Love stuck but they made a complete mess in the middle so i was a little dissapointed .........
