1. At the end you can clearly hear "Daaaisy.. daaaaisy.." For those who have read/watched Arthur C Clarke's "2001: A Space Odyssey" the HAL 9000 artificial intelligence utters this poem as his last message before he's taken offline. In 2001, the main character Dave Bowman becomes the "star child" and sends out a wave of calm and peace upon the earth. So this song is a bit of a tribute to 2001, in addition to having other meanings as seen on this page.

  2. Can't get enough of these guys' Unplugged episode. Shows that Leto actually has a great voice...when I saw him live, he ran around too much to actually sing. But this is just gorgeous. If you didn't see my post before, they also covered Streets and it was beautiful.

  3. Amy Winehouse died?
  4. I may have a better job coming my way next week.

  7. People assume Michigan is cold. They've never come here in the summer. Yeah, the temperature rarely passes 100 degrees, but it can get into the high 80s lower 90s fairly regularly.
  8. I heard that New York broke its all-time temperature record today morning, with something over 42ºC. That's crazy. Poor little planet.
  9. Moncton, NB CA show is said to be contained in a festival as I read on u2.com,so,can't the company take the claw there ?

Because I was hoping to see Arcade Fire under it.

    And U2.

P.s :There is no stadium big enough in Atlantic Canada” said Donald K Donald, “so we will build one and they will come. The impossible will become possible. Moncton will host the last North American U2 360° Tour date and it promises to be the biggest and greatest entertainment spectacle in Atlantic Canada history.
