1. Every U2 fan knows a lot of things of the band. So, let's share our curiosity knowledge with other users. (Sorry about the bad english, but I'm brazilian).
  2. I modified the title a bit just to make clear it's U2 related Also, we have a "Did you know" thingy on the bottom of the page which is pasically a summary of this topic's purpose.
  3. "I always liked Brian, but it was great to actually sit down in a room where he was fiddling and I was able to sit beside him and fiddle too. So we were fiddling - not with each other, but fiddling nonetheless". - Larry Mullen jr., 2009, on Brian Eno
  4. Playing a show in Rotterdam, on May 10th (Bono's birthday), during the ZOO TV tour, The Edge sang 'Party Girl' to Bono. But during the show in Glasgow, on August 8th (The Edge's birthday), Bono asked him to play 'Lost Highway'. He played some verses, but he gave up.
  5. Thanks you by the modification!
  6. Ok I gotta question...Why the red on WTSHNN? I have wondered for years.
  7. Because the song gets you inspi(RED)

  8. Red is universally accepted to be the colour of passion... I'm sure it's not the true explanation for it, but it fits ME and my feelings for the song
  9. It's also seen as a danger colour though. But your thoughts are far more appropriate
  10. Wasn't sure where to post this (so dug out a random thread). I was channel hopping this morning and came across a documentary/film called "How Much Does Your Building Weigh, Mr. Foster?" and in it is an interview with Bono, a brief one. In it he mentions Bob Hewson's death and the kind of impact it had on him and also mentions Norman Foster's father and the impact that had on Norman.

That's all we hear from him and his name is credited in the credits under 'Interviewees'. But another name also appears in the 'Special Mentions' - The Edge. Now I don't recall seeing The Edge or hearing him. Does anyone who is familiar with the film have any more information on it?
