It feels very unnatural standing within it, it's something I find hard to describe but it sometimes just felt like they built something that big just because they could. I look forward to something a bit more traditional next time round.

    Only shame for me is they they never had a go at Drowning Man.


    Sounds like your a bit of a disgruntled fan looking too deep into it ,The tour served a massive purpose in 2010 to say it had no purpose after 09 is nonsense, there was still an album to promote regardless of what cynical idiots say about them not playing as many songs ,they were still playing 4-5 songs off it which is as much as any band will play at the start of a tour AC/DC do the same Metallica ,KOL ,when your playing stadiums thats how its done as mediocre and unconverted fans want a balance which is what you get at big shows , ,it keep U2 in the spotlight and will be a perfect platform going into the next album.

    I'm in no way disgruntled. I've gave up on getting annoyed at the band as it serves no purpose. I've gave up on following setlists on a nightly basis. Concerts are never pointless and there have been many great ones throughout 2010 and 11. I like album tours and this tour failed to be that from 2010 onwards, infact it's debatable if this ever was an album tour.

    My criticism of the tour is hard for me to put across but I found myself loosing interest at a time when the band were doing great things but that's how it went and I still credit them for keeping things interesting on a tour that's lasted too long.

    I've been disgruntled before and this isn't one of those times. Simply disinterest when the band are doing good things.
  5. And who cares about Metallica,ACDC and the rest of em,this is U2 the greatest band on earth who do play loads of songs from the albums that the tours promote.
    I agree it lost something after 09 for sure,i still like 360 but with the NLOTH songs still involved it would have more purpose,in fact think how awesome it would be right now with the AB stuff alongside Unknown Caller and No Line.

    Soo you have no interest in the AMAZING setlist and shows that have been happening this leg?

  11. As Ahn1991 pointed out, I left out Streets from my setlist. It was actually an oversight. Of course, they have played it at something like 99.9 % of every show since it was released...maybe left out of 10 or so shows in the last 24 years, unless I'm wrong.

    Not that I would wish this, but maybe taking out Streets for one tour would be good. SBS and NYD are stale, Pride is stale...and Bullet The Blue Sky was getting a bit stale, so I'm glad it is gone for now. Too bad everything from Pop is "Gone." With a few exceptions, my dream 360 set list was mostly songs they played or snippeted at one point from 2009-2011. I would've placed more than one Pop song, but the band seems to hate Pop as much as the American crowd does.
  12. Have to agree with people saying the last year or so of the tour hasn't been as good.

    I loved hearing One Tree Hill, Even Better, Zooropa and got pretty hyped for Glasto and The Fly!. But I haven't bothered staying up to follow their performances since the setlist shake up in Turin... even then I lost interest pretty quickly when I realised this is no longer the No Line tour, they're no longer playing most of the No Line songs (Should have kept Magnificent at least IMO) and they don't care about changing the setlist. Yeah they change the odd song, and play something different on the second performance of the city but it's not like Pearl Jam where it is completely different each night. Don't they find playing the same stuff boring? because One, Stay, Boots etc. Have really gotten boring for me.

    Don't mean to be so negative!. I would still rank the 360 tour in my top 5. Barcelona, Milan and Wembley being the highlights but I am not sad it is ending.
