  1. I wanted to open a topic for this, but you already posted the link so i'll let it slip.

    To be honoust, I don't like it
    The live version is much better imo, and the clip seems too weird for me.
    Btw I wondered from the beginning why they didn't made that for The Fly instead of Even Better.

    It just seemed to fit The Fly more than Even Better, for the obvious reasons.
    Anyway, I kinda hope this is fake.
  5. The vocals are from ZooTv era, I'm almost sure of it. Don't know if it's a 2011 remix or a 1991 one though.


  6. Yep, probably. I was thinking that Bono or Edge once said that "... (forgot his name) came up with a nex mix for EBTTRT (and also Magnificent I thought ?)" which they liked very much, so they wanted to open the show with it.
    This might be that version then.

    Certainly. It works good live anyway, less in a studio form I think but... so good they brought back more stuff from AB this year.


  8. Definitely Bono's voice is far to strong on the "You Take Me Higher" part. Whoever did this must therefore have had access to the raw vocal stream from 1991, only U2 would have those tapes.

    Didn't they rehearse EBTTRT before the tour started back in 2009? I thought it was Larry's idea to open the shows with it.

    They were rehearsing the Perfecto mix in Barcelona. Don't know if they ever suggested opening with it thougb
  12. Really would love to see this documentary as I know we all would. Especially if they have video of those rehearsals in Winnipeg
