  1. Yeah the boxer intro is awesome but I dont really liked him during that period, dont know why. Vertigo days were not good because of his speeches and his constant reference to Africa.

  2. yeh i agree, didnt they announce the tour b4 the album was even finished? so they had to rush it so it was ready in time

    They werent prepared enough to start touring.
  4. His voice was pretty damn awesome a few times on Vertigo though. He didn't take care of it that well though, but the power he had in the high notes in Miss Sarajevo and SYCMIOYO...

Yeah, songs were totally unfinished, the tour was grossly underrehearsed...think about it- if the songs turned out different, they might have been better live, which would have meant different setlists, maybe a fuller realization of what they could have done with a stage, etc...it just all could have been a lot cleaner with more time. I feel like they threw together a bunch of pieces of metal and called it a stage and weren't ever sure what to do with it.

  7. Wasnt Pop Mart about the Pop culture during that period? They wanted to show the world how ridiculous the modern music industry was, or at least that what thought it was about
  8. BTW: Am I the only one that thinks that Bono's singing wasn't that awesome on the JT tour? I think he was too screamy and hoarse a lot.
  9. I dont understand while they are still dis-owning it. I dont think they played a single song off it in full the whole 360 tour, sad.

    Yeah that's what it was about, but nobody really knew that, I think. It wasn't very well conveyed. It makes SENSE, when you read that, it just didn't really automatically click with a ton of people like it probably should have.

    Thats right not a single one, that suck I think songs like Mofo or Lapoe would be awesome under The Claw
