1. You got that up quicker than I though you would Sounds really good, you got the tone worked out really well. Is that whammy a full octave though? I was listening on the iPod touch speaker thing so not the best to hear with but wasn't sure it was a full octave sweep. Great apart from that though

The pursuits of the unemployed graduate (and subsequently, the free time on one's hands)

It's meant to be a full octave shift, it's set up as such, it's just getting the expression pedal all the way down and back is a bit of a git from time to time, so it's hit and miss on occasion lol. Cheers
  3. Gonna keep spamming this thread 'cause I've got nothing else to do at the moment lol. Put together an Eva Cassidy cover tonight - was originally trying to do a Snow Patrol song or two but I struggled with nailing the melodies, so decided to give this a go since it's one of my favourite songs.

  4. Love this song...hope I did it justice. Enjoy!

  5. I love the stripped back instrumental part. Better than the U2 version in that respect. This was a brilliant song lyrically, unfortunately lost the chance to be a truly top U2 song cos of over production, you've come up with what could have been here.
  6. thanks serg! i have been waiting to do it since i heard it!
  7. all because of you...

  8. Just testing some new recording equipment and seeing how well I can sync it up to a video from a camera. Learnt this pretty quickly, I based it around the From The Sky Down version that Bono sang. Don't be too harsh, this was all done very fast!
