I slept from 4 to 2 last night/day and got a bit of a hangover but still im not going to miss this one. The next setlist party we could have is in about 3 years or something.
So what are your first memories about this tour guys?
For me it were the Amsterdam shows, I waited for the boots to show up because I want to put them on my Ipod for the vacation. Another early memory is the screwing up of One in Barcelona because it was in the news here. And the last 2009 memory is the Sheffield show which I listen live while watching soccer on TV.
First memories? Barca 1 definitely, and the elation of seeing UV return. The surprise at them whipping out stuff like Desire (so early on in the tour) and Electrical Storm certainly - even more surprised at how Edge ruined the chorus with his odd guitar part too...although I did enjoy his solos. Everyone raving about the Amsterdam show with the first big changes like UTEOTW and NYD coming out, and then for actually being there, Wembley 1 and Sheffield. So many good memories. That pretty much covers 2009 lol...2010 is an entirely different basket of kittens, and 2011, well, how is this still the same tour?
PS - apologies for going AWOL for a bit, been recording stuff all day because I have a fee house, and just had an urge to cover ISHFWILF and Van Diemen's Land on the old piano. Why not, I ask you all!?
My first memory is definitely watching the u2start phone stream from my room on my laptop and being mind blown that i was watching my favorite band play live across the world from my computer. That moment and many more great ones provided by this website along the way
