  1. I had a dream that I was really disappointed when I woke up from. I met the Edge. It was at his work... he had an office of sorts, the place looked kinda weird... There was this huge round cafeteria and on the edges (no pun intended) there were offices. I somehow got into Edge's office and said something like "Hi" and extended my hand which he took. We talked for a while and I got something signed, then he said he was hungry and asked me to join him for lunch in the cafeteria. I did and went to get some food, when walking through the cafeteria (it took a while cause it was enormous) he talked a lot, but it was so loud there that I couldn't hear what he said, it was something about Acrobat... and then something strange happened that I don't remember. Then we got our food and sat down at a table and started eating and talking a bit more.

    Then I woke up and was very disappointed. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

  4. I had a U2 dream again. I was at the last concert of the next tour with a couple of friends. I dreamt about the last encore that started with Larry coming out and doing an acoustic guitar cover of Johnny B. Goode, I got to come up on stage and just stand still behind him. Then when Larry had finished Bono came and started singing some song I don't remember and motioned for me to step down from the stage again.

  6. Reposting improved version of the dream above, I remember more now:

    I was at the last show of the NEXT tour with a couple of friends. It was nearly time for the last encore, something happened and there was suddenly a lot more space up front, so we ran forward. The encore started with Larry running out on stage and ripping into an acoustical guitar cover of Johnny B. Goode. It was awesome. He noticed me and motioned to a rather attractive crewwoman to pull me up on stage. I got up and got to stand dead still behind Larry for the rest of the song. Then it was time for Bono to make his entrance. Now I'm going to bust the big encore surprise of the next tour... There were TWO Bonos. One fake and one real. The audience had to guess which was the real one, if they guessed right, they'd play Acrobat. The audience guessed wrong and Bono instead performed something pretty terribly, might've been Wild Honey or the new Wild Honey from the next album. I was still standing behind and then he motioned for me to go back off the stage and I did. Then it ended and surprisingly the only exit was up front so I came out first.
  7. hahahahahahaha, hahaha!! ... I love the dream itself, with the Larry playing Johny B. Goode on guitar the most, but.... WTF, the thing I like THE MOST is how the 90% of our U2-dreams feature Acrobat in one way or the other
  8. I'm not 100% sure it was Acrobat, but it was something the fans really wanted at least and i think it was Acrobat.

    Larry playing acoustic guitar and singing Johnny B. Goode was insanely epic, more epic than Streets!
  9. I stumbled onto this topic by mere chance. I really had no clue so many people had similar experiences. Too funny. I have had several, but each of them involves the band playing in a very small venue, and I am usually seated close to the stage. I cannot remember any specific songs, but the anticipation as showtime approaches is very vivid. I am thinking it is somehow connected to seeing them in South Bend in 2001, a pretty small place to play, and being seated close to the stage.
  10. My friend told me recently that he dreamt that the band brought me up to play guitar with them LOL and my friend was singing. I was apparently trolling the band because they only invited us for I Still Haven't Found but towards the end I played the intro to All i Want is You and they played it <3 I know the whole song for both and then towards the end of All I Want i pulled a fast one and started BAD LOL Bono loooked annoyed at us but kept going nonetheless

    I will endeavor to do this next tour (i already know these songs soo i just need to master the segues mwuahahaha)

    That's actually a good idea, next time someone may play with them on stage, just start playing a rare song, à la Acrobat or Like A Song or...

    Absolutely. In fact, it has been discussed before. It would be very cool to get the band playing something they haven't played ever/for a while, as happened with A Sort Of Homecoming in the Elevation Tour (11-16) or with WGRY Wild Horses in the last Vertigo show.
    Nevertheless, it would be difficult. If I got the chance to go up the stage and play with them 1) I would be so struck to be with them that I would be lucky if I remember ANY chords or ANY song at all. 2) People who go up there usually "are bound" to play some known song, e.g., you have a sign saying you can play Angel Of Harlem or whatever, and you usually get to play that song. But I doubt that Bono would pull up the stage someone with a sign saying "Me + Guitar = Acrobat" or "I can play I Threw A Brick Through A Window on guitar!"... Do you get me?
