    1st thing is that I don't agree at all with the way Bono tries to 'help' Africa in general.
    2nd: He accepts the medal from the hands of a criminal, who's partly responsible for the whole bullshit Africa's in and doesn't even lose a word about it.
    3rd: He's describing this criminal and his son as gracious, passionate, as keen to help, no word about the thousands and millions of deaths they're responsible for.
    4th: Talking about freedom after describing the Bushs as holy? Come on Bono...

    Not to mention his self description. I guess he really thinks he's bigger than Jesus these days.

    I loved the Punk rocker part, though. That one was ridiculous.

  10. The best part of any U2 show is the music, but the activism is to be expected. Maybe you youngins haven't found what your looking for yet and you don't want to be bothered with what is actually happening around the world. Boring or Not , love it and hate it ,for it or against it , Bono has done something that no one has dared to do in all of music history ,Find a cause (or in his case many) and stick his neck out on the chopping block and say go ahead and do it , shut me down and try to stifle me and my opinion. and NOBODY has . He is able to do what he wants to do ,and say what he wants to say and the world joins him picking up people as it chugs along. Maybe the peace speech wasn't one of his best , but are we that bored .
