  1. aside the Sydney dvd .. that's another shame .. the treatment of Zooropa .. sort of rarities-bsides-remixes ..
  2. i'm not going to complain about the price because its been complained about enough.. i'm not bothered about missing out on the badges/flyshades/propaganda magazine because i already have them..

    but what i'm probably most pissed off about is the treatment of zooropa in all of this.. out of U2's whole career, the unreleased tracks from the zooropa era are probably what i've always been most interested in hearing! (along with the unreleased pop stuff)
    i was expecting a separate release containing demos/outtakes/unreleased stuff, hopefully including the early versions of all the tracks that ended up on pop, a possible different version of HMTMKMKM, the bono version of the wanderer and god knows what other gems they were working on...

    i suppose there's nothing to say that this won't happen in the future but the fact that the zooropa album is included in the uber set worries me...

  5. I am a little disappointed as everyone else is on this forum. Three discs of remixes that have been released on many other collections (Melon, Best Of 1990-2000 & B-Sides, Artificial Horizon). Thought they would rework more of the tracks off the Salome bootleg. No Zooropa demos?? Sydney release again?? Really? Really?....

    Lots of other extras but after the first day how often will you go back to the book, badges, glasses or stickers. It's all about the music. And again, I feel shorted. I love this band so much but dammit, give us more music!!!!!

  7. I'm actually quite content paying for the super deluxe, I have none of it apart from ZooTv Sydney so I'm getting moneys worth. Roll on October 31st.

    achtung baby was the first U2 album i ever bought and at that stage, i only knew ATYCLB and their most well known songs.. to this day i still have no idea what made me buy it, but god i am glad i did

  12. That's what I wanted to hear too, the Zooropa demos and alternates and early versions. Maybe another time....another place.

    So for me it's the Super Deluxe, the 6 CDs and 4 DVDs is more than enough. And yet, in the Uber box they have Propaganda magazine (anyone know what edition it is?) but didn't bother to include Melon on CD. Maybe being a fan-club release of the time and all, but why not. I'd have taken that over the bloody sunglasses.
