He's probably a level above most 19 year olds.

I don't think about physical age much at all though, that's for teenage girls who think they're grown-ups.

I'm just kidding. You look a bit older actually.
  2. I'm sixty years old, you losers.

Now go to your parents to complain about your pocket money. Did you notice the price of the Uber Superdeluxe Verycool Hippy Edition?
  3. Guys, I'm going to bed, I'm f**** tired.

Have a good night, and especially Paul McG

  4. Indeed, that great.

I wonder how did you guys became U2 fans? I guess also because of your parents? My parents took me to U2 in 2005 and I knew them a little before that show, I knew BD and the HTDAAB singles but nothing else. I really enjoyed the concert and I remember that we went on vacation a few days after the concert and in the car my dad put up a best of Cd and at every song I was like: Hey I know this song, then after the vacation I discovered the Boston DVD and since then I was completely sold.

  5. I'm only putting up some thoughts

I look old. Some in my class still has their babyfaces.

  6. Babyface. Great song on the Zooropa album. Buy it.
  7. I did not become a fan 'cause of my parents. My first contact with them was BD on a golf video. Then my music teacher showed my class Streets from Slane, I was amazed, went home to watch it all afternoon on youtube, bought U218Singles, more amazement, bought Achtung Baby and HTDAAB. those got me completely sold. When I got the Slane DVD, there was lift-off!
  8. We should open a topic called 'Q & A with Paul McGuiness'. We would surely get some laughs out of that.

  9. Great idea.
  10. My father bought All That You Can't Leave Behind and when my father was driving I always had to get a CD from the dashboard. I think the whole Marillion and Yes discography was in it, but I knew there was a supercool song on ATYCLB called Beautiful Day. Usually, I listened to Beautiful Day, Elevation, Wild Honey and Grace. My father also bought The Unforgettable Fire before I was born, but I never played them because I had downloaded them.

When I was home, I always played songs using the PC in the middle of our living room. I knew my dad didn't like 'modern' music, so I downloaded U2 and Coldplay and started listening to it. It was only weeks after the release of How To Dismantle.

I don't know whether or not my father was very into U2 those days. In our family, I'm the music expert. My fourteen years old sister doesn't listen to music and my mum doesn't know much about music. My father knows there are band called Radiohead and Coldplay, but seems to be interested only in Yes/Marillion. I doubt if he cares about U2.
  11. Best quote ever.
