"It's a disgrace for Bono, he needs to focus on U2" is first, haha, what a surprise
  2. Ok, i have a point to make.

    U2 are being stupid.

    Plain stupid.

I mean what they really need to realise is that they are getting older every day, not younger.

They can't keep taking so long on making albums and side projects, i mean the Spice Girls. Its fucking absurd.

And did anybody else find it really sad to see Bono sitting side by side with George Bush Sr. the man he once prank called and sang against?
  3. Yeah thats right mcphistfly. But it´s okay when he does it when there is no band session, isn´t it?

Very sad indeed. Bush is a genocide and a murder, and he doesn't deserve to have Bono sitting side by side with him.
  5. I really don't give a shit if Bono writes a song for the Spice Girls, how much time could it really have taken way from U2? The man writes songs, I'm sure he didn't tell the band to hold off for 6 weeks while I go and write this song. If he thinks it's a good idea, or at least an OK idea which might have some AIDS benefits, then so what? Bono himself did say that he would have lunch with Satan himself if he thought it would help his AIDS work. I'm definitely no fan of the Spice Girls and I definitely hung my head when I heard this but really, we all know Bono is a whore, and a flirt, is it really that surprising? His generosity sometimes gets the best of him. When their next, and possibly best/transcendent album comes out with a fully produced version of Mercy, I will forgive him for any wrong doing. But my point is: so what?
  6. dude this is just....really dumb...i mean why!?!?!?!
  7. BONO DENIES SPICE GIRLS COLLABORATION

Rocker BONO has laughed off speculation he will team up with the SPICE GIRLS to record a new song. The Wannabe pop stars are due to release a greatest hits album before Christmas (07) and it was reported Bono had been enlisted by record label bosses to write a track for them. But U2 manager Paul MCGuinness denies the speculation. He says, "We're great fans of the Spice Girls. But rumours the Bono is to join them as a sixth member is sadly not true. However British super-producer Mark Ronson is desperate to work with the five-piece. He says, "I love the Spice Girls. I think their music is great. I would love to do a remix of Stop - that's easily my favourite.

    Well, happy ending I suppose
  10. I was waiting to hear it too. Bugger, now we'll never have a hit on our hands. Does anyone know how long "When Love Comes To Town" took Bono to write? Ten minutes.

That's how long it takes to write a song for him. He goes all around the world, in fact they all do and get an album out in a few years.
