  1. So, the Q -Awards have been given. Look up the results here:

    U2 was nominated for 1 award (the most important one), for Best Act In The World Today, but lost to Arctic Monkeys. They follow up Oasis. Other nominees were: The Killers, Foo Fighters and Muse.

    What do you think about these results?

    Arctic Monkeys was the only act in this group I didn't want to win. All i can say is they must have very loyal fans because I can't get my head around this. Each to their own though
  3. Dissapointed ofcourse... U2 is waay better
  4. U2 haven't been active enough to warrant an award voted by fans
  5. I've never seen nor attended a show of artic monkeys.... but I can believe U2 is more emotionally loaded... and I'm sure U2 is waaaaaaaaaaaay better than any other band....
    it's a shame they've lost...
  6. If U2 couldn't win I would have rather seen someone like the Foo Fighters win.....at least a band who has been around a while, paid their dues a bit.
